“When I am dead, my dearest, Sing no sad songs for me;
Plant thou no roses at my head, Nor shady cypress tree:
Be the green grass above me, With showers and dewdrops wet;
And if thou wilt, remember, And if thou wilt, forget.” –CHRISTINA ROSSETTI
GENEROSITY and HUMILITY — two constant descriptions (from eulogies) for the King of Comedy, two traits I’ve always admired in people. He’s the Man of Comedy for all the Filipinos because of his remarkable contributions in the industry. But for me, Dolphy is simply the Man of God sent from above. Great man, indeed! (Mom said: “Walang masamang tinapay.”)
“Heaven is now a happier place with you there.” — Truly it is! Long live the King, long live the Comedy!
